Hi Elizabeth,

I just wanted to take a moment and echo what many people have been telling you.  Hang in there and keep doing what you are doing.  You are one of the few people that try to find a new home for these wonderful horses.  It seems that there are many OTTB websites, but none as personal and professional as yours.  We have spoken a few times on the phone and I unfortunately was not able to come out and ride with you.  My old trainer was able to find me a free lease horse named Bugsy, but I lost my job back in April, so we had to let him go back to his owners.  His owners care for him very much, so they were going to show him.  He is currently out at Imtiaz Anees’s farm.  You can’t get better care than Imtiaz.

I used to ride and train Arabians and I thought that Thoroughbreds were these high spirited and spooky horses.  I’ve discovered through your website and riding Bugsy that they can be just the opposite.  They are high performance athletes that deserve the best and in return, they give you their best.  I’m currently a stay at home mom with three boys under the age of 6.  They keep me so busy that it unfortunately does not leave much time for riding..so I look at your website and dream of the day that I’ll  be able to buy one.  I’m hoping one day to be able to buy a Prospect horse from you!  So please keep posting and selling these wonderful horses.    Sometimes riding horses, especially one that can be your best friend, can make a person feel very content and happy!  I hope you were able to ride one today!

Have a blessed rest of the weekend!

Thank you Ashley and thank you to everyone who has been so supportive of our mission to promote Thoroughbred ex-racers to new careers.
