A beautiful morning sets the mood for a great ride

The chiropractor came over on Saturday evening. Avri’s pelvis needed to be adjusted. He also did some adjustments in his neck. Avri was falling asleep on him when he adjusted his neck! He did not even mind having his pelvis adjusted, he never even tried to move! The doctor said Avri was his star patient for the day.
There is such a difference in him since the adjustments; He has been a lot more energetic! I am so glad he was able to make it over to look at him.
I also had my vet come out to check Avri’s eye, She said it was slightly irritated but there was no infection there. She said since his third eye lid was white it would always show more of the veins and blood vessels.

We have been going on lots of trail rides and riding up and down the gentle hills in the pasture.
He is such an awesome horse; I really like him a lot. I bought him for a resale project but I am going to hate to sell him! It will have to be someone every special.

Elizabeth’s Note: Many horses are sore when they finish racing. The soreness is easily resolved with chiropractic adjustments and controlled exercise. We do not believe in putting a horse out to pasture for six months when they get off the track. This will only lead to the horse favoring the sore area and leading to the over development of other muscles which may possibly lead to other lameness issues.
