Punch Says Good-bye and Hello

Punch is now officially an OTTB! He has said good-bye to his loving race track family and hello to his new mom(s) – Dawn and Rachel Bollinger. Punch will be starting his new career as a Pony Club mount for Rachel. They hope to compete back in Kentucky in the future – this time at the Kentucky Horse Park for the National Pony Club rally.

Breaking Free aka “Freeby” has come along so quickly already. He is straighter, more confirmed in the connection, and the canter improves each ride in terms of balance and we almost have a proper transition already. He is also hacking out and trotting ground poles and exercises in my field at home.

Thought I would let you know how we made out with Bo. I ran up on Friday morning to get him from the training center without my daughter because the window of opportunity was small. Now I have bought horses from pictures before but this is the first time the horse has looked better than…
