Thoroughbreds can do

September 8 – Lots of New Updates

Sep 8, 2009

We like to keep in touch with all our buyers and see how the horses are doing. Unlike most sellers, we want to hear from our buyers whether the news is good or not so good. We are here to help you transition your new Thoroughbred off-the-track. We are thrilled by your successes. They are the stories that keep us motivated. Thank you all for staying in touch.

The Re-education of Fast Commander

Sep 5, 2008

Bato Loco es Mucho Terrific!

Loco is coming along great. I am at the barn at least five days each week; two days round pen, three days ride. We’ve made a lot of progress. Loco stands perfectly still at the mounting block for me and comes in from the pasture when I call him. He has really “gotten it” in…

Fast Commander Bundled Up for Winter Weather

Jan 4, 2009

Fast Commander looks more soft and mature now. He is getting much more balanced. We actually jumped a mini course of little cross rails very respectably a couple days ago. Commander really seems to like jumping. He thrives on any and all human attention, which is quite a contrast from how he was prior to…

Reign Day Made It Home to Massachusetts!

Mar 21, 2010

We have made it home! Nine and a half hours after loading into the car this morning, we arrived home (it was around 6:30), whereupon we unloaded Reign Day and Ty and they met our “crew”. Day was very good. He was a bit nervous, but in a very sensible manner, quietly regarding everyone and everything, and it did not take long before he seemed to be more interested in eating his hay than being nervous.

Hey Elizabeth, Thought I would send you a short clip of Carmac and Bill Hoos schooling the intermediate road crossing at Ocala last month! He is such a cool horse, I just love him! Hope all is well! Hope you enjoy, I had a video of all his schooling highlights but it was taking so…
