Dr. Kenny Winn – Two Years and Goin’ Strong

Feb 19, 2009

We’ve done a lot of natural horsemanship techniques with him, and it’s working VERY well. He’s making amazing strides. Of course it helps that he’s intelligent and catches on quickly. Once he knows what is expected, he relaxes. And, he doesn’t like mindless work. He will lose interest and focus if you just ride him around in the ring at a trot or canter. So, we change it up by asking him for transitions. Seems to keep his mind on you much better.

Four Year Anniversary for K O River Crossing and His Mom Loui

Jul 23, 2011

Wow!Hard to believe it has been four years since I purchased K O River Crossing (sight unseen and just retiring from racing). This past year he has come a long way. Dressage lessons, lots of ground work/riding and many desensitizing sessions with Bob and the “redneck carwash, flags, noodles, hoola hoops and more have definitely paying off.

Father Nature Naturally Takes Well to Re-Training

Nov 16, 2008

Father Nature is wonderful! Yesterday I rode him down to the ravine that had water in the bottom. It went pretty well. I’ve been doing some dressage work and jumping with him. Just started to teach him some work in hand. We really love him! What an awesome horse!! Thank you so much! Angela
