“Shaman” and I are doing great. He has gained some much needed weight, and he has actually been deemed “fat” by my vet since these pictures were taken. All I can say is that I love him and I cannot imagine ever parting with him! Barbara

I rode Cor (obviously short for Cortableau and also means “heart” in Latin) yesterday. He was so good. We just walked and trotted in the round pen.

we spent lots of time in our yard, which he always loves, eating down the dandelions and rye grass and…….getting a few carrots handed to him after he put his head through my mom’s office window and said good morning to her! Anyway, I just can’t believe how relaxed he is in our yard now, he really really loves grazing in it and when we get our front gates up in our drive way, I know he’ll really love being able to be loose in it.

Saturday was Hunter classes in the Adult Amateur classes and we placed in two of our classes with a 6th and a 4th. I am pleased as we continued to improve through the day. Sunday was Adult Equitation day and we really settled and won two seconds, a third and a fifth. We are getting much better at finding and keeping our jumping pace and hitting the proscribed number of strides.

Friday-Rock sand (three tons) is brought in and placed directly over the clay floors (floors stripped prior of course). Of course, that day we did not have the Kubota so yours truly shoveled rock sand from a pile outside the stall into the stall (Ben had to make two trips to get the rock sand).…

I was showing June in Alpharetta this past weekend. June is doing great and getting ribbons in the Adults at “A” shows. She is around 17 hands now and is filling out to be absolutely gorgeous! I have enjoyed her so much and she really seems to be liking her new job as a show hunter.
