Our Success Stories are proof that Thoroughbred racehorses make great sport horses and family members when their racing careers are over.
When a horse is purchased with the assistance of Bits & Bytes Farm, we require the new owners to stay in touch and provide us with updates. These updates are posted on our Success Stories pages so that the sellers of the horses know that their horses are doing well and have not gone back to racing or been slaughtered. The sellers care about these wonderful Thoroughbreds and they too enjoy reading about their horses' successful new careers. They often call or e-mail to thank us for finding a home for a horse they bred or trained. She is being ridden by Jaime Gibson (the Gibson’s are good friends of mine and all in the horse business) who is a very talented young professional after a successful junior career. German Import Gets American Thoroughbred
As soon as it was certain, that we were going to move from Munich in Germany to Huntsville, Alabama, I started searching for the “perfect” horse on the other side of the world…. and soon got hooked on 4 year old Rule My Heart. It took some time, but then Heart finally moved from Kentucky to Alabama, almost a week before we would actually be moving. So here I was with a horse, I had never seen in real life and which I would not even be able to welcome home, since his new home was still not my new home.

A Little Weight Gain Needed – No Objections from Little Silic

Wolfie Goes to Wellington!
It was our first time there and Wolfie continues to get better as he gains more experience. This was another sleep away weekend beginning Friday afternoon with schooling. Saturday was Hunter classes in the Adult Amateur classes and we placed in two of our classes with a 6th and a 4th. I am pleased as we continued to improve through the day. Sunday was Adult Equitation day and we really settled and won two seconds, a third and a fifth. We are getting much better at finding and keeping our jumping pace and hitting the proscribed number of strides.
