Mudbaths, Mayham, Whatever . . . Life is Good for this OTTB

Feb 2, 2009

Sorry it’s taken me so long to write, but the weather has been wretched and the only thing Outflankem, aka Bailey, (aka Mr. B ) has been doing is eating and taking mud baths! We got “Mr. B” so my husband could take a crack at some lower level eventing, and maybe some fox chasing.…

“Seven’s” Luck Continues with New Owner

Feb 15, 2009

When I bought Fuhrluck, aka β€œSeven”, in July of 2007, I would never have considered selling him except for the fact that my trainer, Dayna seemed to have fallen in love with him. I decided it would be best to sell him to someone who had the time to work with him. To be perfectly…

She was very brave and very honest– no silly or thoughtless moves πŸ™‚ Lindy learned about stepping over logs and by the end of our ride she was a pro.

Pulling One Over on Patrick

Nov 5, 2011

It was a real eye opening first day…Patrick as it turns out has a pretty good eye for a horse…we did do the fake owner thing to him and he bought it hook line and sinker..but while he and I were out with Game this morning watching her in turnout, he commented that “you know, this horse looks a lot like that Great Game horse on the Bits and Bytes site”…I had to look real close to see if somehow he had tumbled to my prank—but he hadn’t—just had a good eye for the horse.
