Oct 18, 2010

Snowdance Kid was a horse for sale at Bits & Bytes Farm when he was purchased by Beth Hutchison in October of 2006. We are happy that after four years he is still enjoying cross-country jumping! We are proud of this pair! We look for lots more great Snowdance Kid Success Stories.

Aug 31, 2011

No training of a racehorse to a jumper/dressage horse/trail horse–western pleasure or whatever is possible until you gain a hold on the mind and heart and confidence of the animal you are working with because end of the day—like us, their minds control their muscles and how they are used just a surely as ours do. All you have to do is remember the last time something terrified you to equate. . .

(The) Bank President Loves Jumping

Sep 24, 2010

Bank President aka “Banker” has had a busy summer of training in his new life and we finally did our first horse show in August. Not sure which one of us was more nervous entering the ring. We started in the baby jumpers but moved on quickly to level one and two. He was quite naughty in the baby class with the small jumps and lots of time to play. So at the risk of scaring him we moved him up. I don’t know what he was like on the track but this horse has some pluck! He was brave, willing and double clear!
