Wolfie’s first USEF/USHJA Rated Show
Hi Elizabeth, Well what a weekend! This was Wolfie’s first USEF/USHJA rated show. We opted to do the full (5 classes) Low Adult Hunter Division at the height we had been doing rather than try to do a 3’ Division. I am hoping by the Fall we will be ready for that. Anyway, we shipped…
Propensity for Boo Boos – Mom Considers Bubble Wrap
I hope that you had great Christmas and New Year’s celebrations! I have been slow to send updates since our December show because Cadence has been in and out of minor injuries. He has a way of getting more mystery injuries – no matter how many times we “Cadence-proof” his stall and the pastures, he finds a way. Genuinely Happy
I was just checking in and giving you an update on Genuine Draft. We have grown to love this big guy. He is my mom and sister’s barn favorite! He is so sweet and loves people so much! If I am in the barn he would rather be inside with me than turned out in the field. His training has progressed significantly in the last few weeks! He is jumping around small courses and is doing great. I have attatched a few pictures of him in action.
Vilas County Schools His First X-Country Jumps!
Vilas County understood directly what the game was about and as more we jumped as more he wanted to do. At the end he was really paying attention to see where the next jump is. I had great control over him and he never wanted to rush before or after the jumps. We jumped most jumps out of trot as this gives him more confidence right now.
