Joe Bear and I haven’t been out and about very much in the recent months but I hope to do something soon. We have been working at home with lots of hill work and flat work and I make it a habit to do grid work at least once a week. I recently realized that…

I went out to the barn and took these at lunch. Ron told me that her winter coat was coming out and he didn’t lie. I was not quite expecting this though. A little elbow grease and medicated baths should take care of the problem though. I have not had time to start grooming because…

Loco is coming along great. I am at the barn at least five days each week; two days round pen, three days ride. We’ve made a lot of progress. Loco stands perfectly still at the mounting block for me and comes in from the pasture when I call him. He has really “gotten it” in…

Irish has made it safe and sound to Maine! Everyone was in such awe of his size! He came off the trailer so quietly, went into his stall and immediately drank water and ate hay. Very relaxed. We turned him out and he just walked around. I figured he would need to run and burn some energy, but…

I wanted to let you know Chances is doing great. I just love him. He has put on weight and is building his top line. We’ve started some jumping and he loves it. He trots right over everything the first time, even scary flowers and panels. He is even cantering down hills outside. He has…

My Isabell is a gorgeous horse with loads of potential. When I purchased Izzy I was a stay at home mom and thought I would have plenty of time to work with her, but I have had to go back to work full time and sadly that means she is not getting worked much at all. Izzy is incredibly smart and sensitive with a great work ethic. She likes to be out doing things and learning and I just don’t have the time to give her what she needs. I would love to see her go to someone who will put her in a regular program where she will be mentally and physically stimulated.
