Baileysontherocks Still Rocks Eight Years Off-the-Track!
Baileysontherocks has found a wonderful new home! He is now living at a private farm just five miles up the road from me, with a young girl named Colbie. Colbie is just getting into jumping and showing English, and loves his forward, eager personality.
Baileysontherocks came off-the-track in 2004 with the help of Bits & Bytes Farm.
Casper Captures New Mom’s Heart
Familiar Ghost, “Casper”, has been with me just over a month. And what a month it has been! As you and I discussed, I’ve been riding a long time. I’ve really liked a couple of horses, downright disliked fewer, and have had a so-so relationship with some. The horses I rode were always for sale…

I wanted to send you a success stories update on Wiseguy’s Out. He’s doing awesome. I thought we had him sold to a trainer in Texas but they were looking for a smaller horse. He was reserve champ at local H/J show in the low hunters and showed Level One jumpers at two “AA” rated…

SOLD! Congratulations Stephanie Bone of Alabama on her Third OTTB! Theironman was a Prospect Horse For Sale who never made it to our Web site. He was purchased by Stephanie Bone. This past weekend Laura’s Pony Club had a three day Karen Scholl natural horsemanship clinic and Laura took Goldie. The horses had to wear hula hoops and balloons, walk over tarps and have them pulled over the top of their heads. They eventually were riding around with a halter and lead rope with a huge moving pink balloon blowing around in the middle of the arena while Karen cracked a whip. Goldie was a star!!! No one could believe he is a five year old Thoroughbred off the track, he handled everything so well.

It was our first time there and Wolfie continues to get better as he gains more experience. This was another sleep away weekend beginning Friday afternoon with schooling. Saturday was Hunter classes in the Adult Amateur classes and we placed in two of our classes with a 6th and a 4th. I am pleased as we continued to improve through the day. Sunday was Adult Equitation day and we really settled and won two seconds, a third and a fifth. We are getting much better at finding and keeping our jumping pace and hitting the proscribed number of strides.

Breaking Free aka “Freeby” has come along so quickly already. He is straighter, more confirmed in the connection, and the canter improves each ride in terms of balance and we almost have a proper transition already. He is also hacking out and trotting ground poles and exercises in my field at home.
