Our Success Stories are proof that Thoroughbred racehorses make great sport horses and family members when their racing careers are over.
When a horse is purchased with the assistance of Bits & Bytes Farm, we require the new owners to stay in touch and provide us with updates. These updates are posted on our Success Stories pages so that the sellers of the horses know that their horses are doing well and have not gone back to racing or been slaughtered. The sellers care about these wonderful Thoroughbreds and they too enjoy reading about their horses' successful new careers. Winter Break
Goldie is so funny in the snow. He and his buddy Ice love the cold weather and and play across the fence all the time. I think they’re getting cabin fever and their blankets are getting the worst of it. That part isn’t funny. Well, only had to snowshoe out to feed twice so I guess it could be worse.

Allegedly True – Lives Up to Nickname – “True Sweetheart”
Allegedly True aka “True Sweetheart” stood quietly for the farrier and then went on a hunter pace at the Metamora Hunt. He did very well and stayed right with the other four horses — did not spook at any thing.
Mary Misbehavin Meets Her Mom
Leslie made it home this weekend for the first time since August and finally got to meet Mary Violet (Mary Misbhavin). It was mutual love at first real sight. MV is super sweet. Leslie rode her in the round pen – trotted and cantered, and they did great! We’re going to ride in the big arena today. I just wanted to get you some pictures.
Fuhrluck aka “Seven” Still Lucky in 2010!
It’s been a long time. I just wanted to share a couple of photos of Fuhrluck aka “Seven” with you. As you can see he’s looking great! I still regularly keep in contact with his new owner, Dayna and I see him whenever I’m back in Ohio. I can’t imagine a happier, more loved horse.
