Ides Pride May Be Available For Sale
“Seary” (Ides Pride) is doing well, she is back in work and doing really well. We are jumping x-rails about once a week. The rest of our time has been spent on flat work, still trying to move her muscle back up where it belongs as you can see in the pictures I have attached she has a bit of a baby belly.

Just wanted to send an update of my OTTB talk with the kindergarten class. First, I just have to say that kids are a great audience! They really soak it all in. Noah and I brought pictures of Kwinn (Dr. Kenny Winn) and I managed (with tech assistance) to show the kids your website (including the success stories). I had printed out Noah’s story from the mission page and printed out a picture of Kwinn (prospect page) as a handout for the kids. They really loved that! Noah was so proud to hand his story out to his friends!

I am very excited to report that Who’s Cindy Sue has finally arrived to her new home in Connecticut. She marched right off the trailer like a proud filly and immediately stood like a lady for pictures! She arrived safely, healthy and in good spirits. I am so proud of Cadence! He was a trooper…after a very rocky start. It took four people two hours to load him on the trailer, which is completely out of character for him because he usually walks right on. This was the first time he’s ever seriously challenged authority, but in the end he did get on. He just was in a very sour mood – charging, throwing his weight into people, even after lunging…finally had to have one of my trainer friends put him in his place and then he loaded. On the return home, he loaded on the second try, no problems.

We began in the arena with some ground work, where River has made tremendous progress (thanks to you, Barry and Daryleen). He worked so well off voice commands today and moved beautifully. We followed this up by a great ride, working on several dressage patterns.
