Da’ Boyz Do Gymnastics and Dressage

Oct 21, 2009

I’m again enjoying this lovely weather! Da’ Boyz (Dakota Spirit & Chilletecaux) are coming along great! This past week and this week they graduated to gymnastics (three jumps on the one stride) and cantering simple lines. They both LOVE IT!! The dressage is coming too. Soldier is doing well and has settled in here. He has shoes on and is much happier. His teeth are done and he has been wormed once. He is eating and drinking well and we are giving him a bit more food.

Reign Day Made It Home to Massachusetts!

Mar 21, 2010

We have made it home! Nine and a half hours after loading into the car this morning, we arrived home (it was around 6:30), whereupon we unloaded Reign Day and Ty and they met our “crew”. Day was very good. He was a bit nervous, but in a very sensible manner, quietly regarding everyone and everything, and it did not take long before he seemed to be more interested in eating his hay than being nervous.

Sweet Things in Texas for Better Be There

May 17, 2008

I am very happy – he is so sweet. He loves to have his face rubbed. He does need some weight on him. I am giving him Omelene 200 and alfalfa so far, now I have only had him since Friday afternoon so any suggestions would be great. He does not seem to like grass…

Gold Charm

Sep 13, 2011

Gold Commander One is the barn charmer. Everyone, despite themselves, loves this big guy. Frankly, he puts the warmbloods to shame with his good mind and pleasant manners. He enjoys his work, the attention, and being out in the ring with other horses. He also likes to watch other lessons, just like Becky said he watched other horses at the track exercise in the morning.
