Farmsick for Bits & Bytes Farm
I rode Aly again today after breakfast, and lunged and free lunged him first. He did superbly and my mom was extremely impressed with how quickly he obeys the voice cues for w,t,c while lunging especially. I also rode without stirrups for a good 15 minutes or so just to challenge myself and hopefully keep a good seat even though I am coaching myself.

I did not get “Fool”, A Little Bit Foolish, from Bits & Bytes Farm, but I still feel like you’re a part of his life. If it weren’t for your website’s success stories, I probably would not have pursued purchasing an OTTB. “Fool” and I went to our very first show earlier in the year.…

Dear Michelle and Elizabeth, UPDATE: Attached is a photo, not worthy of posting anywhere, but nonetheless evidence of my first ride. I think the trainer is being particularly cautious. I appreciate her caution, but at the same time, I know Gold and I could be making a little more progress. However, I should not discount…

Titania arrived at her new home yesterday, November 19, around 3:30 PM. She unloaded and was totally calm and relaxed, despite the cold weather and the seven horses staring at her from their fields. He has been working nicely in open pasture at home, but this was his first off-campus experience since coming to Oklahoma. He went willingly, straight in…

Bubba and I have enjoyed being at Bits & Bytes Farm for the last month. But I think its time for him to come home and meet his new siblings, my three white Arabians (GG, Nettie and Kain) and little brown pony, Joe. I’ve fixed broken fencing and reset a few crooked posts. I’ve gone…

Imatexan began the year as an unraced four year old Thoroughbred in race training. In ten months she has gone trail riding, camping, to dressage clinics, had jumping lessons and she has gone to two combined training schooling shows where she entered five classes – three dressage and two jumping classes and she won FIVE BLUE RIBBONS!
