A “Fat” Chance!
Finder’s Chance is doing fine. We are fattening him up for the winter. He has had light work this fall because of a strange injury that laid him up for a couple of weeks. He came in one day with a scrape on this fetlock and swelling and smelling like a skunk! Maybe he got…

We have made it home! Nine and a half hours after loading into the car this morning, we arrived home (it was around 6:30), whereupon we unloaded Reign Day and Ty and they met our “crew”. Day was very good. He was a bit nervous, but in a very sensible manner, quietly regarding everyone and everything, and it did not take long before he seemed to be more interested in eating his hay than being nervous.

Carmac is still doing great! I am continuing his lunging and the side reins and he is getting better and better everyday. I haven’t gotten any good pictures, as it’s hard to take pictures while lunging a horse at the same time, must work on my timing. Anyway my mother did come out one afternoon…

The Groom (Eleanor’s Groom) is today figuring out his first probable snowfall…three inches! Supposed to melt today and we’ll have another week of warm, sunny fall, I hope. I ponied him through the creek the other day, no problem, guess he’s learned from drinking out of the lake! He’s very smart and a quick study.…
