We offer assistance and guidance to make sure the horses we sell are successfully placed. Our Success Stories are proof that Thoroughbred racehorses make great sport horses and family members when their racing careers are over.
When a horse is purchased with the assistance of Bits & Bytes Farm, we require the new owners to stay in touch and provide us with updates. These updates are posted on our Success Stories pages so that the sellers of the horses know that their horses are doing well and have not gone back to racing or been slaughtered. The sellers care about these wonderful Thoroughbreds and they too enjoy reading about their horses' successful new careers. Four Year Anniversary for K O River Crossing and His Mom Loui
Wow!Hard to believe it has been four years since I purchased K O River Crossing (sight unseen and just retiring from racing). This past year he has come a long way. Dressage lessons, lots of ground work/riding and many desensitizing sessions with Bob and the “redneck carwash, flags, noodles, hoola hoops and more have definitely paying off.
Reign Day Has a Quiet Rainy Day
I have to say, I’m pretty sure that Reign Day is not very impressed with the climate here in Massachusetts so far–today was overcast and dreary and it rained on and off. He had a very laid-back, quiet, “settle-in” day. I played with him in the aisle, gave him a good long groom, did his carrot stretches and a bit of backing up.

Reign Day Made It Home to Massachusetts!
We have made it home! Nine and a half hours after loading into the car this morning, we arrived home (it was around 6:30), whereupon we unloaded Reign Day and Ty and they met our “crew”. Day was very good. He was a bit nervous, but in a very sensible manner, quietly regarding everyone and everything, and it did not take long before he seemed to be more interested in eating his hay than being nervous.

Young Rachel Alexander Fans
Dr. Kenny Winn has been doing so well! His training is coming along beautifully. The girl that rides him for me twice a week is going to use him in one of her dressage lessons so the trainer can get good look at him. He’s starting to get fit and muscle up with his work routine.
