Rocky Bear and Bits & Bytes Farm owner - Elizabeth
This Web site was created to tell the stories of the Off-the-Track Thoroughbreds Bits & Bytes Farm has sold. The Mission of Bits & Bytes Farm is to help sellers (of Thoroughbred racehorses for sale) to find buyers who have the ability to transition these horses to new careers. We offer assistance and guidance to make sure the horses we sell are successfully placed. Our Success Stories are proof that Thoroughbred racehorses make great sport horses and family members when their racing careers are over.
When a horse is purchased with the assistance of Bits & Bytes Farm, we require the new owners to stay in touch and provide us with updates. These updates are posted on our Success Stories pages so that the sellers of the horses know that their horses are doing well and have not gone back to racing or been slaughtered. The sellers care about these wonderful Thoroughbreds and they too enjoy reading about their horses' successful new careers. They often call or e-mail to thank us for finding a home for a horse they bred or trained. To learn more about Bits & Bytes Farm and our mission please visit our Web site at: www.BitsandBytesFarm.com.

Bank President
The vet was shocked I bought Bank President sight unseen and then amazed at his easy going temperament. He is so very quiet now after some down time. My farrier also commented on what a nice TB he was. He is on his way now to getting healthy and starting a new career next year.
Whos Cindy Sue – A Future Show Jumper!
She is doing well! We started lunge training this week, and she caught on quickly! I think I may have found my jumper because she jumped out of her turnout last week (it was feeding time!) the fence is four feet, and she cleared it.

Wolfie Goes to Sleep Away Camp!
Today (Sunday) we did basically the same set of classes – but both of us were tired. We placed 6th again in one OF class, 3rd in the US (again about 12 in there) and …. on a lark I went into the flat equitation class to give him more flat class experience since we need more seasoning there and we won! I will not tell you how long it has been since I did an equitation class….!
Admiring Glances for Kwinn’s Kind Eye (and Natural Talent)
“Kwinn” (Dr. Canhewin) is doing so well. He looks wonderful; putting weight on and and his coat looks healthier too. The Famotidine and now the probiotic with antacid seem to be working well for him. I don’t get enough time to ride right now, so he really needs to build back up. He gets tired…
Checking In
I’m attaching a few pictures of Cait and Taxi that I took yesterday. Both are doing great. When we decided to buy a horse sight unseen and from across the country we had no idea it would turn out so perfect. I can’t thank you enough for making this happen.
Mimi’s Ava Joins AVA Productions, Inc.
Phil did not know Mimi’s Ava’s full name when he began the buying process. It soon became clear that Mimi was meant to be his horse when her full name turned out to be the name of Phil’s audio visual company – AVA Productions, Inc. Coincidence or divine intervention?
First Recognized Horse Trials are a Synch for Heather’s Best
Heather continues to just get better and better! We did the Fall Horse trials at the Horse Park of New Jersey this past weekend. It was a really big event, only our second time competing at a horse trial, and our first recognized event. I discovered the night before our competition that Heather thinks braids…
