Breaking Free aka “Freeby” has come along so quickly already. He is straighter, more confirmed in the connection, and the canter improves each ride in terms of balance and we almost have a proper transition already. He is also hacking out and trotting ground poles and exercises in my field at home.

Antioch arrived late last night! He is gorgeous even if he is thin and woolly! He began eating hay and found the automatic waterer right away. We are heading over there in a few minutes to try some beet pulp. We will take some pictures when we get there!

… last week I came home after work, driving down the drive way and who was coming cantering towards me…Vilas…we have a xc-jump included in our pasture fence line and all the time we haven’t had any problems, but just till last week. Wolfie and Laurie had another successful weekend with the Palm Beach County Horseman’s Association show at Wellington, FL. The team won a second, third, 2 fourth, and 2 fifth place ribbons. Their second place came in the adult amateur equitation medal over 2’6” fences. Go team!

Well Irish Morning Mist and I had a fun filled weekend attending the progressive show jumping horse show in Aiken. It was “I-Man’s” first show back and our goal was to just get use to the atmosphere and all the commotion.
