When a horse is purchased with the assistance of Bits & Bytes Farm, we require the new owners to stay in touch and provide us with updates. These updates are posted on our Success Stories pages so that the sellers of the horses know that their horses are doing well and have not gone back to racing or been slaughtered. The sellers care about these wonderful Thoroughbreds and they too enjoy reading about their horses' successful new careers. Focus on the Important Things
We began in the arena with some ground work, where River has made tremendous progress (thanks to you, Barry and Daryleen). He worked so well off voice commands today and moved beautifully. We followed this up by a great ride, working on several dressage patterns.

My First Ride on Monarch’s Reign
The last time I was on a horse was more than two years ago, so I’m not exactly an expert rider these days! Plus – and I almost hate to add this, because in retrospect it seems so silly – Monarch’s racing history gave me some reason to doubt my first ride would be a smooth one. Judging Dreams Judged Sound by Vet
The vet check went (for Judging Dreams) great BUT they had x-rays done. So the vet here developed them and overnighted them to the buyer’s vet in Connecticut. Don’t know the outcome, BUT I wanted to buy Irish Morning Mist no matter what the outcome. SO he will be shipping here on Saturday! Can’t wait…
Irish Loves to Jump!
Irish is doing well and looks great. His dapples are better then ever.
I will try to send you a video of one of our jumping lessons soon. He is turning into a real jumper. You would be impressed at how well he can move in and out of the jumps. Irish also has a girlfriend named Princess. It’s a little mini. It’s so cute!
