Thoroughbreds can do
Gold Commander One Update
Michelle and Elizabeth, The heat is tremendous. I get soaked to the bone going to the barn. However, we’re all coping. Goldie has transitioned well to his new home. He makes friends easily. He has a pony buddy, a little paint. And all the ladies, girls and little girls at the barn LOVE him –…
Red Carpet and Ribbons for Showman, Wiseguy’s Out
I hope all is well at Bits and Bytes! It’s definitely turning colder here. Wiseguy herds his pony buddy Mr. Smarty Pants out to the far end of the field to graze every morning. Wanted to send you an update-again! We took Wiseguy to a local show this weekend and I schooled him over little…
Austin’s Wolf Exhibits a Wicked Sense of Humor
A quick update on Austin’s Wolf a former Bits & Bytes Horse For Sale. He has decided to try living up to his name and dug a hole in the pasture then pretended to be afraid of it when we walked by it under tack. HA! He is spoiled rotten. Our coach came over today…
Phil’s Courage Up for Bigger, Broader and Taller Challenges!
I just had to send a quick line to brag about Phil. Phil is clocking around a 3′ course with changes now and is completely bored. At a 3’3″ oxer (with a 3′ spread) he finally took interest and thought about the jump. Previously, anything under 3’3″ was not a challenge for him. I’m sure…
September 8 – Lots of New Updates
We like to keep in touch with all our buyers and see how the horses are doing. Unlike most sellers, we want to hear from our buyers whether the news is good or not so good. We are here to help you transition your new Thoroughbred off-the-track. We are thrilled by your successes. They are the stories that keep us motivated. Thank you all for staying in touch.
Grey Thoroughbred Horse For Sale – My Isabell- SOLD!
My Isabell is a gorgeous horse with loads of potential. When I purchased Izzy I was a stay at home mom and thought I would have plenty of time to work with her, but I have had to go back to work full time and sadly that means she is not getting worked much at all. Izzy is incredibly smart and sensitive with a great work ethic. She likes to be out doing things and learning and I just don’t have the time to give her what she needs. I would love to see her go to someone who will put her in a regular program where she will be mentally and physically stimulated.
Construction’s First Ride
Meredeth and Construction enjoy their first ride together at Bits & Bytes Farm.
If Wishes Were Horses, Then Beggars Would Ride
I sure wish I had had a clue just how good thoroughbreds are to work with years ago…..I do soooo enjoy it—they really are a horse all thier own just as much as any Arab… One of these days I may get lucky with lotto or something in which case I would need to to find me one of my very own…lol. Thanks again for all of the pleasure and wholeness you introduced back into the family thru Sush—prayers and best hoping you find homes for all those other “Sush’s” you are working for right now….and ps—-how is my girl Great Game looking?—any chances for her to find someone yet?—I sure hope so…..
Achieving a Happy Balance with Hollywood Vic
I am so excited about my ride on Hollywood today, I cannot stop smiling! I have been working on my balance for a while now. Today everything clicked and we were rockin’ in the ring all by ourselves, trotting over poles having a grand time! At one point I could hear Celine Dion singing “It’s…
