When a horse is purchased with the assistance of Bits & Bytes Farm, we require the new owners to stay in touch and provide us with updates. These updates are posted on our Success Stories pages so that the sellers of the horses know that their horses are doing well and have not gone back to racing or been slaughtered. The sellers care about these wonderful Thoroughbreds and they too enjoy reading about their horses' successful new careers. Bank President Excels at Everything!
Just a quick note from Minnesota. Banker is excelling at everything, he really is too smart for his own good. He is learning to bend and we have almost got him over the playful bucking issue. He has an amazing canter stride and really tries hard to please. He is so cute when her free jumps! He gets all excited now and you can’t even hold him at the end of the ring anymore.

Hounds Under Foot . . . No Problem for This OTTB
I took Rap foxhunting for his first time and my wife got to experience mounted foxhunting for her first time, and they both did great! We started out in the back and as the day wore on moved closer to the front, Rap was completely unphased by all the activity going on, including hounds running literally under his feet.

Maverick on the Move!
His ground manners and patience are all improving. He’s been taught to be hobbled. I only did this because he was getting to be such a handful camping and on big trail rides, I feared for his saftey and didn’t trust him not to jump to get with the herds. He struggled some, but quickly learned to calm himself. The Sunday afternoon following the Saturday that he was first hobbled it actually paid off in an unexpected way.
